Formed in 2013, a group of 4 young visionaries started Biji-biji Initiative, aiming to inspire action through innovative problem-solving, utilizing creativity and technology as powerful tools of community-driven solutions. We want to sow the seeds of progressive ideas and drive momentum towards a more sustainable future. The Biji-biji Initiative is a social enterprise that aims to share progressive ideas with everyone. We champion sustainable living, reuse waste creatively and we love collaborative production. By using discarded materials, basic electronics, and passive building techniques we aim to inspire our surroundings with fresh and fun approaches to sustainable living.
What was once a disruptive group of passionate young volunteers has grown into a full-fledged team of permanent staff members from diverse nationalities and backgrounds, based in Publika, Malaysia’s artistic & creativity hub in the heart of KL.

PPR Krubong
MELAKA
Launched in 2018, PPR Krubong is a four-block apartment complex in Malacca. The PPR currently houses 2,400 residents from 600 units, with amenities such as a community hall and sports center.
